VP, GRC
As Vice President of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), Edward’s mission is to align cross-functional teams around a programmatic approach to control risk per authoritative industry standards and ensure compliance with multi-jurisdictional laws and regulations. His remit is outward-looking, too, managing third-party risk and working as a regulatory liaison on data privacy among other regulated initiatives. Wall Street-trained in Enterprise Risk and Compliance, Edward has held C-Suite and advisory roles in IT, Cybersecurity and Integrity for Fortune 50 to Global 1000 firms, and advised USG and foreign agencies on socio-technical approaches to interdict capital flow and to disrupt operational synergies among terrorist and criminal organizations. He has had the most fun, though, helping structure innovation in early-stage technology firms, especially FinTechs. While he blows off steam in endurance running, cycling, and swimming, he’s consistently chosen flight to get to and from most of the 75+ countries on six continents where he’s worked.
