VP, Fintech & Digital Asset Technologies

Matthew Digesti is the Vice President of Fintech & Digital Asset Technologies.  In this role, Matthew assists in leading product strategy for embedded digital banking products, Web3 payments technology, credential-based identity in financial services, digital asset transactions and custody, and credential-based ownership of financial services data.  With his fintech, crypto, and legal background, Matthew is uniquely positioned to understand financial services regulatory requirements and translate those requirements into actionable product development opportunities.

In addition to product responsibilities, Matthew is also responsible for corporate development relating to fintech and digital asset technologies.  His corporate development portfolio includes identifying and monitoring market trends, working with product teams on relevant R&D, developing strategic partnerships, identifying and monitoring regulatory trends, engaging with federal regulators, educating regulatory and political stakeholders, and influencing state and federal agency rulemaking and legislation.

Matthew has written extensively on topics relating to law and technology for Forbes, Nevada Lawyer Magazine, Nevada Business Magazine, the Reno Gazette-Journal, the Northern Nevada Business View, and Payments Quarterly. Matthew serves as the fintech and crypto advisor to the Reno Seed Fund.  In his free time, Matthew is raising three little ones, searching for the next live music event to attend with his wife, or learning everything he can about decentralized finance applications.
