Head of Creative Innovation
Mark is an executive creative director and technology leader. He works across product, design & partnerships to invent the next generation of content experiences.
For the last 20 years, Mark has been pioneering new forms of digital content, leading global teams to develop cutting-edge creative platforms and applications with iconic brands such as Sega, Unity Labs, Universal Studios, The Walt Disney Company, Warner Brothers, Marvel Entertainment, Oculus, HTC Vive, Adobe, TNT/TBS, Cartoon Network, Blizzard Games, Team Liquid, SDCC, SXSW, NASA, NBC Sports, and the International Olympics Committee.
Mark’s mission is to connect technology with people and culture, to place the user in the hero’s seat (to steal from Joseph Campbell). He tries to deliver on that vision by working across disciplines of creative, strategy, design, and tech, and by growing collaborative environments in service of powerful ideas.
In recognition of his work, Mark has received the Tony award as part of the McCarter Theater Company, celebrated as a Hero Partner by Unity Labs for launching the Unity Engine into the metaverse as an experiential platform for San Diego Comic-Con International, keeping fans connected during the pandemic.
Mark has co-created animated and live-action series at Cartoon Network and Disney Channel, and produced/wrote/co-directed a ground-breaking collaboration between NBC, The International Olympics Council, and XFM, for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The first feature he co-wrote, The Ghastly Love of Johnny X, continues to live a vibrant life in cult cinema. In the Ed-tech arena, Mark helped launch Space Teams Academy and serves on the Advisory Board for One Giant Leap Australia. In his free time, Mark enjoys shenanigans with his family, BBQing, playing softball, and getting into good trouble.
