Zee Hamza currently serves as the Head of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at Blockchains, bringing over 20 years of experience in the technology domain. He was the Director of Data Science and AI at a leading FinTech startup, where he leveraged AI and Machine Learning to detect money laundering and sanctions violations at Tier 1 banks worldwide. Prior to that, Zee held the role of Director of Machine Learning at a major U.S. airline. He has successfully led the implementation of digital wallet technologies and has collaborated on commercial applications of emerging technologies with various NGOs.

Zee holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science, a Master’s degree in International Business, and a PhD in Applied Mathematics, specializing in Stochastic Methods in Machine Learning and AI.
